About Travel Intro to Travel

Success
Traveling with Cross Country TravCorps is about having an infinite number of options. It's about experiencing new places, new people, new clinical surroundings and taking freedom to a whole new level. It's about being part of a company that works towards putting you in the driver's seat when it comes to your career - rather - your success.

The healthcare industry is constantly changing and advancing. Being a traveler helps you stay current on the latest technology. The fact that Cross Country TravCorps allows you to choose assignments in some of the nation's most prestigious healthcare facilities means you'll be working alongside top healthcare professionals. This gives you a better chance of getting the hands-on training you need to stay ahead in your specialty area.

Working with Cross Country TravCorps also means changing your working environment every 13 or 26 weeks, the typical length of an assignment. Doing this helps you acquire skills that are unique to travelers. You become more flexible and the ability to adapt becomes second nature to you. This allows you to learn and accept new ways of doing routine procedures. You regularly face new challenges, which usually require new solutions. New solutions mean learning new skills rapidly and staying focused on the task at hand.

Starting a travel career is simple. RNs, LPNs and Surgical Technologists need at least one year of recent acute care experience. Respiratory Care Practitioners, PTAs, OTAs, and Imaging Professionals, and Medical Laboratory Professionals can also begin traveling with just one year of recent experience. And Registered PTs, OTs, and SLPs can get started with less than one-year experience on certain assignments. You can travel in the beginning of your career, in the middle or at the end - whenever you decide the time is right. You can also travel for as long as you'd like, whether it's one assignment or a hundred. The adventure is there for you to begin or end whenever you want.

Ultimately, being a traveler will help you build a better resume and will make you more marketable as a healthcare professional. If reaching your maximum potential in your specialty is your final goal, traveling with Cross Country TravCorps is your quickest road to success.
