John Muir Medical Center Walnut Creek is a 321-bed acute care facility that is designated as the only trauma center for Contra Costa County and portions of Solano County. Recognized as one of the region's premier healthcare providers, areas of specialty include high- and low-risk obstetrics, orthopedics, neurosciences, cardiac care, and cancer care. John Muir Medical Center Walnut Creek is accredited by the Joint Commission, a national surveyor of quality patient care.

John Muir Medical Center Concord is a 259-bed acute care facility that serves Contra Costa and southern Solano counties. The medical center has long been recognized as a preeminent center for cancer care and cardiac care, including open-heart surgery and interventional cardiology. Other areas of specialty include general surgery, orthopedic, and neurology programs. John Muir Medical Center Concord is accredited by the Joint Commission, a national surveyor of quality patient care.

John Muir Behavioral Health is a 73-bed psychiatric hospital located in Concord. The John Muir Behavioral Health Center offers psychiatric treatment for adults, children and adolescents who are experiencing emotional or behavioral problems. For those who are dependent on alcohol or drugs, they offer a full array of chemical dependency treatment programs.
